In 4th form, we have been learning about natural disasters, their causes and consequences. As a closure for this unit, we decided to make our own volcanoes.
If you want to give it a try, here you have the instructions to do it at home:
- Cut the top of a water bottle off. Tape the bottle to the centre of a piece of cardboard.
- Make newspaper roll and balls to stick around the bottle.
- Mix water and flour in a bowl to make glue. Tear the newspaper and put it into the glue.
- Put the newspaper over the rolls to make the shape of the volcano. Don't cover the top of the bottle.
- Wait for the paper and glue to dry completely. Once it is dry, paint the volcano.
